4.1 With Event Organizers

When you register for an event, the Organizer of that event receives your registration data, including your name, email, and any information you provided in the registration form. Each Organizer operates under their own privacy practices and is independently responsible for how they use your data.

4.2 With Service Providers

We share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform:

  • Stripe — for secure payment processing. Stripe's use of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Email delivery providers — for sending transactional and event-related emails (registration confirmations, badges, invoices).
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — for securely hosting the Platform and storing data.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, prevent fraud, or ensure the safety of our users.

4.4 No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

5.1 Data Storage

Your personal data is stored on secure servers. Registration data for each event is stored separately to ensure data isolation between events and Organizers. This multi-tenant architecture means that your data for one event is not accessible to Organizers of other events.

5.2 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
  • Secure authentication with hashed and salted passwords
  • Isolated per-event databases for registration data
  • Regular security assessments and updates
  • Restricted access controls for administrative personnel

5.3 Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Registration data is retained for the duration of the event and for a reasonable period thereafter to support post-event services, disputes, and compliance.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Platform may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience. These include:

  • Essential cookies — required for the Platform to function properly (e.g., maintaining your session during registration and checkout).
  • Analytics cookies — used to understand how visitors interact with the Platform to improve performance and usability.

You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform, particularly during the registration and payment process.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Right to restrict processing — request that we limit how we use your data.

  • Right to object — object to the processing of your data for certain purposes, including direct marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided below. We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Third-Party Links

The Platform or event pages may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country in which you reside. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your jurisdiction. When we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
